What is Residential Child Care Really Like? Join us in Dumfries, Annan or Carlisle to find out more.

Could your experience help change a young person's future?

When people think about residential childcare, one of the first things they often say is:

"I've never worked in residential childcare before."

The reality is that many of the skills needed to support young people come from everyday life, work and community experience.

Fancy a chat to learn more?

We are hosting a series of informal Coffee & Chat drop-in sessions where you can find out what residential childcare is really like, ask questions and learn more about working with Care Visions.

About Care Visions

Care Visions Residential

Care Visions Residential provides residential care and support for children and young people across Scotland, including young people with complex needs. Since 1998, we have been committed to creating nurturing, homely environments where young people feel safe, supported and valued.

Relationships at the heart of what we do

Our approach is built around relationships. Our Roots to Growth Practice Framework gives our teams a shared approach to creating safe, positive childhoods, supporting young people to recover from trauma and helping them develop the skills, confidence and relationships they need for the future.

We work alongside each young person, recognising their individuality, listening to their voice and supporting their hopes and ambitions. We also create opportunities for young people to explore their interests and develop their potential through initiatives such as The SPARK Project, which helps build life skills, confidence and explore future employment opportunities in safe, supportive and fun environments.
